Long ago a glorious kingdom called Everheart was protected by a magical sword, the Everblade, a sword with the power to absorb dark magic. Until the witch Lorelei opens a chasm that swallows the castle and its guardian blade deep underground. In a final battle to save their kingdom, the mages of Everheart subdue Lorelei and imprison her in a tomb for eternity.

This is a fun read that goes too quickly. It hold some classic fantasy themes but is well balanced by the author's creativity. I read the author's prior book and can say that I will follow what he does next.
This was a very good book there was a lot of action and a lot of spell casting. Great story and really good characters. I hope there is another book after this one.

Another great book from G.M. Browning. This was not my type of story, but I enjoy the way G.M. Browning writes and his attention to detail and his descriptive writing is great! Everblade was another great reading. He captures the reader and keeps them interested and wanting to know what happens on the next pages. Hope there are many more books to come from this great author.
Plot is very believable for a fantasy adventure. I received the boo for free but have had friends and family to purchase their own copies.
This book is a real page turner! This book is a fast paced, action adventure novel with magic and warriors! I love how the author did not stick to one specific time setting such as the medieval period for his story.
However, I do have a couple of complaints about the book. In the beginning I had some issues with some of the conversational flow of the book. I really hope there will be a sequel to this book because the ending left me with some questions.

A wise mage, a brave swordsman, a sorcerer and a witch. Kingdoms with names like Torea, Calmoren and Everheart. This well-written fantasy novel pulls you through a portal and into another realm on a quest for a legendary sword. There's plenty of adventure and dark magic, battles and bravery and deception. There's also humor, and an extremely charming scene where our lead man Alek teaches a fierce and beautiful warrioress some moves--on the dance floor.
The author is good at setting a scene and making you feel like you're there without being overly descriptive. The story flows well--it's definitely a quick read, and it's also pretty mild. There's no profanity, no gratuitous sex scenes, and the battle scenes aren't filled with pages of gore.
I was a little thrown off by the ending, but other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed EVERBLADE.
